When You Eat, They Eat

‘When You Eat, They Eat’ is the annual event organized by SFLIG, which sees 700 orphans and other less privileged children, including street children, enjoying a day filled with lots of love, laughter and food. For the less privileged in our society it can be a constant battle finding adequate amounts of food – a battle which is never more pronounced than at Christmas time. Whilst others are enjoying an abundance of food and presents at this time, there are many who go without.

As a result of this, SFLIG organizes a Christmas Day Picnic filled with games, rides and of course food. This day is shared by both the privileged and the less privileged of the Kumasi community and it continues to prove that the greatest gift at Christmas time is not one that is found under a tree, but rather one that is given from the heart.
